Pieces of peace

The ship of peace sinks,
Into the abyss of mind,
Now broken into pieces,
Is the peace of mind.

Boisterousness of bizarre world,
Abetted the aroma of life,
Mirror of the materialistic reality,
Reflect the quagmire insanity.

Drill of the sustaining greed,
Killed the kindness indeed,
Derailed is the train to eternity,
False creed is now the humanity.

Behind love, trust, care,
Stays hidden salacious desire,
Mind draped with peace,
Is mere masked attire.

Media- a medley of ironies

These days what can we expect to see before switching on our television screens? Today when we watch news, movies, music or say any channel that has all kind of daily soaps running 24X7 on it, what do we see?
I have one answer for it- a medley of ironies.

Let’s cover the News channel first.
The most important part of our lives that connect us to the world, aware us with the important issues, tells us about all the happenings around us, which has this really big responsibility to share the news in its truer and pure form is none other than our news channels- an important side of the media.

But today what we do see over there?

Most of the times it’s the “entertainment” news which they telecast, whether its ash pregnancy issue  or which actress is more hot on screen or which serial is hitting the highest TRP’s or daily update of serials.

Story doesn’t here; off course they show news also, but how? Have a look then.
15th June 2011 midnight, world encountered century’s biggest lunar eclipse and I was shocked by their ironical opinions over this news that made me think - re think re-re think again about how media is responding towards its duty of enlightening the society.

At one side (the side which I too believe in), media was delivering the news stating:

“Watch lunar eclipse at midnight. It’s just a mere geographical phenomenon which has nothing to do with the lives we live. And all those astrology and rituals that people believe performing during eclipse is baseless. “
(To support it, they showed many clips of people who proved that what media just told was right. Like there was this couple who decided to marry on the day of lunar eclipse and their marriage has been a success.  And then there was another couple whose daughter was born on such a day and they said their life is so happy and their daughter is like their good luck charm)

But at the another side, media flipped the news stating:

“Let’s welcome the famous astrologer who will tell how this lunar eclipse will effect various ‘rashis’(zodiac signs)”
Now tell me, m I siting on my couch to watch this ironic take of media over this lunar eclipse?

Story doesn’t end here, watch now. Often news like this is shown – “see the cruelty of police, for no reason how police beat the women who were protesting? Unkind side of police”
Now, pause over here. They showing clipping of this whole incident and are they talking about cruelty?  Where the civic sense of media had gone when they were just standing over there and were busy recording? If they knew that it was inappropriate to beat those women then couldn’t they just stood up for them? Ironical behaviour!!

Not just this, why media is so ignorant about the real issues and problems our nations faces. Why not cover the slums, take interviews of the farmers, what agricultural problems they face today, one must not forgot that Indian farmers plays an important role in the growth of this nation, why not cover the interior of the country where many people don’t even have enough money to arrange three meals for a day and how government is doing nothing about inflation, how about counting number of schools in the villages rather than screening how much money a movie earns at the box office, why not show live about the present condition of hospitals in the towns and villages than having discussion with few politicians on an issue that never reaches a conclusion point….

Plenty of endless important stuff waits to get noticed than interviewing celebrities or showing which designer dress Angelina Jolie is wearing at cannes.

Coming over to the movies channel:
Ironic again!! Censor board assigns “A” certificate to the movies that are not meant to be viewed by the individuals below 18 in India. But how easily after few months that same movie with “A” certificate hits our small screens… how responsible attitude of media can be seen at this point.

Music and other channels:
Many or say almost all daily soaps are nothing but crap!! Very few serials exist that makes some sense. Otherwise, whatever these shows show, how much of it exist in real world? And are they helping the society? You actually think so? Instead they are ruining it.  Even the reality shows make no sense. Everything is pre – planned (then where is reality, ironic again) and every channel does all the possible ways to do anything and everything to increase the controversies of their so called reality shows thereby increasing the popularity and TRP’s…

Money minded media is now getting off its track. We want sensible news at this crucial time where nation is getting gripped into some series issues and media can do a great job by interviewing government over the issues and building a pressure for the good and betterment of the society.

Stop your bizarre news and give us some real news 24x7 than showing it off to mere prime timings.

Media- Hold up your responsibility before we give up all ours hopes over you and just stop watching your senseless news.

LOL

Well, I’m someone who is optimistic, keeps my faith alive, a happy go lucky girl who believes that goodness still exist and life is beautiful but sometimes, situations does arise when you need rest and support for yourself against the various shots of irritation arising from the gun of your big stuck up schedule or materialistic world which makes you feel that it’s only the selfish attitude that people are left with or your messy picture of life at the moment that seems all disarray, nothing seems perfect and that’s the time when patience and hope is lost. Peace is lost. I too lose it all.

But people think
“Come on gal !!, why you think like that? You are always happy and yourself believe in optimism, so how can you get irritated?”

And what I want to tell them here is that-
Please learn not to question back that time, instead understand the simple fact that obviously I know about myself like I’m optimistic and I do believe that one should be satisfied, should find joy and positivity in every situation one deals with and should not lose hope and patience in the tough and rough time but, knock!! Knock!! Hello my dear people, how can you all forget one big fat fact that when one reaches the saturation level, nothing strikes the mind. And same thing happens with me; at the moment of frustration (but only at very high dose of it) I can’t think about any positive or negative and all I need is simple smile and few words of support to make me remember what I believe and say to everyone when they feel lost and disappointed which is

"GOD WISHES TO SEE THE PATIENCE TO RISE FROM ONE'S FAILURE"
And if you hit success in that, then few doors definitely gets open for you.
"HOPE IS WHAT HE SEES IN YOU, AND IF YOU HAVE IT, THEN HOPE IS WHAT HE GIVES AND A NEW BEGINNING"

So people, don’t question why one isn’t thinking progressively when he/she is in super-duper frustrated mood, instead just support each other, keep it light, let’s make each other believe that hard times are transient, keep hoping as best is yet to come, keep the faith, never stop dreaming, life is beautiful.…

and  don't panic, just lol- live out life(that my abbreviation) !!

it's a New Year day

Good Morning, Good Afternoon and a very Good Evening people!!

Hey fellas, Happy New Year to everyone. I know its bit too late for me to wish now, I’m sorry, but hey isn’t that great that you guys have someone to say to you, at this very moment - happy new year while four  months have already been passed J hope you all smiled while reading this :D

Well at 1st January of this year, you all must have wished each other with loads of wishes, beautiful greets and blessings. Must have planned yourself with few New Year resolutions too, so now I take this opportunity to ask you all, how this new year actually going for each one of you?
Because this is really important, or I would rather say it’s more logical and ethical for all of us to keep a check with each other to know how each year is going for our dear and close ones rather than just wishing them on 31st December and then hardly care to know how their life is going.

So I have my list of updates to share:

Well 2011 started not so good for me. It was tiring, hectic and above all very irritating. I was wondering on 1st January morning that what’s so new about it; except the fact that a mere date has changed where year has been incremented by one. A night before this New Year started, situations were such that everyday used to make me feel more bad and sorrowful and still the same. So where is the ‘New’ factor? Well, managing your life at the moment when your life is going disarray is really important and challenging. And don’t be afraid of taking life’s challenges as it’s truly said somewhere that
“To have fear means, that I’m danger to myself as well as to others”

So come on, don’t be afraid of your fear. Throw it away.

My life which was going through a rough phase made me feel depressed. I even stopped writing. I thought writing is no more in me. I was under depression. But then I thought, processed my negative thoughts and after interrogating myself, I came to a conclusion that ‘if writing is no more in me then how come each day, every second I think about it. May be because my state of mind isn’t good and I might not come up with good great sentences and vocab but does that mean I stop writing, NO, hell NO!! Writing is something I love the most, it’s my passion, my life. So finally today I break through my junked cage of thoughts where I  ceased my writing and here I hit my first post of this New Year.

I’m happy. Well I agree my level of writing has dipped because of the stress but hey my readers, I promise you all, I will keep up and will be back again with a bang. I know you all are with me. Aren’t you?
Well, as I crushed few negative thoughts among the millions that right now travel inside my mind, I want you all to do the same. For those of you whose life is also going through many twists and turns and each day you feel like banging your head over the wall, feel infinitely frustrated, think that no one is there beside you or sense the heat of anger accumulating inside your heart that is on the verge to explode, then for you all, I want to say,

I have the faith that your life gonna shine soon, when you all can handle this kind of maddening life at this very moment, then you are the champions like our Indian cricket team which came out with flying colours and made us proud; and so am I proud of you all and your door of happiness would be knocked soon.

Don’t give up.
Don’t be afraid.

Live each moment. Grab out the opportunities. Don’t feel sooo low low, you may feel low though :D
Keep smiling. This is life, sooner or later it will be beautiful as always remember,
Life is beautiful :)
And you are never alone. The great God is always beside you in some or the other disguise.

So today is the New Year day for all the ones who are facing the tough time, cheers to this hardworking gang who still stands up and fight against the hard-hitting time, I’m too in it. And we take the resolution that we will keep fighting until we win.

Regards,
Aditi
