Irony in- Rally...

No doubt, “rally” serves as a big political battleground which serves as a good medium to let some people put forward their views to the party currently in charge of the government.. On the behalf of other people who share same opinions and come to join the rally, Orator of the rally gets the opportunity to speak out their combined outlook over a subject for which a full-fledged rally is conducted. But unfortunately, these days “rally” has lost its significance and a simple IRONY has got attached over the way “rally” is conducted.
Few days before, one of the busy streets of Delhi@ Sansad Marg where even a simple traffic jam cannot be afforded; but there, half of the road was blocked. Why?

Because of the “rally” which was conducted by the members of the opposition party. Orator of the party was standing over the truck, was pouring out the agenda/ opinions at the top of his voice on a loud speaker in very aggressive tone. Well, no issues that the rally was conducted in a manner (a good orator, assembled with few people, shouting their views with banners and slogans in hands) that it seemed to be perfect to any person.
But did any one realize that the rally which they were conducting was purposeless?

Following points would reflect the barren side of the rally:

 Views were spoken, but IRONICALLY IN FRONT OF ITS OWN MEMBERS who already knew and had come to join the rally.

 They start supporting their views and try to mask them behind the NAME OF “JANTA” (INDIAN PEOPLE) who I guess, doesn’t even know that a “rally” is being conducted for them.
It’s so IRONICAL that before people gets to know about any particular law or bill that has been passed by law of the country and they can decide whether its for their benefit or not, Politicians decide for them. why? We have not given them this right to decide on our behalf.

 Heavy security is made available for these people in rally? Why? If they think they are doing a good for work for people in India. Then IRONICALLY what they afraid off? Don’t you think aim of giving security is losing its aim?

 They claim that they think and care about “janta”, but IRONICALLY, they BLOCK ROADS AND JAM TRAFFIC which instead of helping, CREATE PROBLEMS FOR” janta” .

 Why they conduct rally at any place? When government has constructed big grounds to carry out such things, why they choose only busy roads? To grab media attention. Wow!! Isn’t that appreciable?
Rather than peacefully and directly telling to the party who is in charge of the government, IRONICALLY, the purpose of rally has shifted mere to inform media....

  1. Hey, well its nice ... article no doubt about it, specifically if the topic is very casual but unnoticed. Good job
n Who take that pic ... in ther ... just asking ?

well ... firstly, I appreciate that u drawn out attention towards it.
I just got some crazy comments to do so do forgive me for my ignorance.

    Starting from the first point....
The Rally isn't for their own people but for people like us who don't even bothered to pay attention to them because actually we're busy with our lives. And they do need their people to bring the support and to make the rally possible.

    Now the second one
Your right, they're no one to decide what's right for us, but they are the ONLY part of Janta who at least get chance to show off their POINT of VIEWS....
and yes we do give OUR HONOURed MPs, Leaders (and their sweet pets) etc... etc the right to decide what's good for us. As using our Holly Democratic Right.

Well now y do they need heavy security, Irony is their, if their are any of some leaders who dared to speak for the mass...
was respectfully... graved by the MASSes. And yes, If some1 gets any bloody point, we hv lot of UNsocial elements in Politics itself from whom they do need security actually.

Now, if we come to that Traffic n ol thing that is quite usual for we ppl....
well my dear, the place they took for their JANTA PARADE (lolz ...) that is actually the place where you can draw the attention of the people who actually running this Great Country (so well).

Well... if you see they're quite looser in their effort as after all that hiccups when my sweet friend took notice of all the unpleasant effort by OUR IRRESPONSIBLE JANTA... she didn't even bothered to mention the "REASON" of the RALLY which was goin on.

Well, with Janta like Us or precisely Janta like me.... putting crazy comments on a very good effort of a friend. Guys like us, who don't even care to know that this all hazardous efforts are opted by our sincere leaders, I don't think we can blame for WHY THEY'RE DECIDING FOR US.

  3. Democracy, Aditi, is a misconstrued thing, which in reality is a kind of quasi or autocracy in deceit.
I mean, what we think about democracy to be, that we live in a free country, and the power lies in the hands of the common people, is false.. Not true... Humbug...

The constitution grants each citizen, the fundamental right to hold peaceful demonstrations. Period.
What we now see, is that everyone has arm-twisted the law, never ever one may imagine to have a demonstration that is peaceful or that doesn't hamper the functioning of the society.

I differ in opinion from Kbrbhaskar. You see, the rally isn't for anyone! The opposition is in tatters, and just to save itself from complete oblivion, such kinds of protests are organized for a single simple reason - to bring hurdles in the daily routine of the citizens.

If the demonstration would have taken place in a secluded ground, noone would have affected by it, none shall bother about it.
Only when people were stuck in a jam, they looked into the matter, and you rote about it, recalling that the opposition is still existent!

Tell me, Bhaskar, did you cast your vote. Or did the MP come up to you, asking you, your problems, discussing the issues?

Ironically, the protests are not to inform the govt. about the issues, but just to be in the headlines and in the minds of the people.

Nepotism is one thing, that is a characteristic of politics. "MP ka beta MP!"

Look at the whole government, almost every person is a relative of the other...

In any case, the people of the country are sheep, herded by the ruling class.

Even the idea of independence, was borne by a handful men, while the majority of the population really never bothered about it.
    The same thing happens nowadays.

A government comes into power, and these few men shape the future of the country, while the rest of us are kept uninformed.
The great austerity drive by the politicians, a few months back was in the headlines.

A BILL WAS PASSED THAT SECURED FREE TRAVEL OF RELATIVES OF MPs, a couple of days back.
The public doesn't know of it. All it remembers is the economy class travel of Rahul Gandhi.

Still, as you say it, "The country goes on!"

I think, had an inducting and influencing effect on you! lol

The post's great... There's a lot more stored in you, that's yet to take shape, ink, and come out..

    Loved it.
